Wawasee at Lakeland

Wawasee got back into the win column on Wednesday evening, defeating Lakeland 3-0 on the road. The Warriors are now 3-3-1 this season.
Two of the three Wawasee goals were scored off the boot of Dylan Hively. Johnny Likins scored as well and also added an assist. Weston McClintin made five saves in net, earning the shutout.
The Warriors remain on the road for the team’s next contest on Monday against Bremen.
Girls Soccer
Central Noble at Wawasee

Wawasee and Central Noble battled hard for 80 minutes on Wednesday, but neither side was able to come out on top, as the two sides dueled to a 0-0 draw. The Lady Warriors are now 1-6-1 this season.
Wawasee will look to pick up a win in its next game, Tuesday at home against Columbia City.

Warsaw at Homestead

Warsaw tennis’ two-game winning streak was snapped on Wednesday, as the Tigers fell 4-1 on the road to Homestead.
The lone Tiger victory came in the No. 3 singles match, where freshman Henry Norton earned a 6-3, 7-5 win. The No. 2 doubles pairing of Khareus Miller and Drew Ryser battled hard, but ended up on the wrong side of a 4-6, 2-6 loss.
Warsaw plays its next matches on Saturday at the Warsaw Invitational.
John Glenn at Tippecanoe Valley
Tippecanoe Valley boys tennis earned yet another win this week, defeating John Glenn 3-2 at home.
No. 1 singles competitor Cameron Manuel earned yet another win, taking his match 6-4, 1-6, 6-4. No. 3 singles William Mellott earned a come-from-behind victory, winning 4-6, 6-1, 6-2. The No. 1 doubles pairing of Ian Cooksey and DeOndre Hamilton clinched the match for the Vikings with a 6-1, 6-2 win.
Tippecanoe Valley plays at Rochester on Monday.
