Indiana Democrats Announce Delegate Training Sessions Across State

INDIANAPOLIS – Hoosiers interested in representing Indiana as delegates to the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago can learn more about the process by attending one of four training sessions from the Indiana Democratic Party this fall.
IDP staff and volunteers will hold training sessions in Northern Indiana, Central Indiana, Southern Indiana and a statewide virtual event on Zoom by Oct. 11.
Becoming a delegate means the opportunity to be there when nominating the presidential Democratic nominee and approving the national party platform.
These trainings will cover the basics of the delegate selection process, and key dates and timelines potential delegates will want to know.
The dates, times and locations of the trainings are listed below:
• Sept. 23 (Central Ind.) at 10 a.m. ET: IBEW Local 481, 1828 N. Meridian St., #205, Indianapolis.
• Sept. 30 (Northern Ind.) at 10 a.m. CT: USW Local 1010, 7047 Grand Ave., Hammond.
• Oct. 7 (Southern Ind.) at 10 a.m. ET: Bartholomew Co. Dem HQ, 1417 Chestnut St., Columbus.
• Oct. 11 (Virtual Statewide) at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.
