Burket Town Council Adopts Budget Of $114,000 For 2024

BURKET – Burket Town Council adopted its 2024 budget Tuesday.
The adopted budget totals $114,000. The rainy day fund is $2,000. The general fund is $37,800. The local road and street fund is $8,500. The motor vehicle highway fund is $49,000. The cumulative capital improvements fund is $500. The cumulative capital development fund is $600. The economic development income tax credit fund is $14,400. The local option income tax special distribution fund is $1,200.
The motor vehicle highway restricted, opioid distribution unrestricted and Community Crossings matching funds roads and bridges funds are $0.
