Football Sectionals
Wawasee at Northridge
After pulling off a massive upset in its sectional opener a week ago, Wawasee was unable to pull off another on Friday night, falling 49-20 to Northridge on the road in their 4A Sectional 18 Semifinal game.
The Warriors end the season with a 2-9 record and will return next season,
Central Noble at Manchester
Manchester will play for the 2A Sectional 35 championship next week after earning a 28-21 win over Central Noble on Friday night. The Squires are now 5-6 this season.
It was a great passing night for quarterback Logan Eastgate, as the QB went 11-18 for 176 yards and two touchdowns, one to Ben Brown and another to Colten Nelson. Eastgate also ran for 93 yards and a score. Eli Metzger had 114 receiving yards. Reiss Gaerte had 82 rushing yards on 27 carries and a score.
Manchester will take on Fort Wayne Bishop Luers in the sectional championship game on Friday night.
