Save The Sycamore

This is regarding your front page on Oct. 21.
I was awed by the picture of the tree that was right on the front. I thought the woman standing next to it was so lucky! Then I read the headline and got sick to my stomach! What is the city of Warsaw thinking? Cutting down that gorgeous tree!
The fact that the project started five years ago to me seems to indicate that the tree could stand a lot longer even now! Surely, the sidewalk can go around that wonderful big tree!
Please, city of Warsaw, come to your senses and make this tree a landmark - DO NOT CUT IT DOWN!!!!
I am not a citizen of Warsaw but do a lot of my shopping there. And have some friends there. How about making this tree a landmark for us to come drive by when we are in town?
