NORTH MANCHESTER – Mary Kathryn Uhrig, 102, died Oct. 21, 2023.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on May 28, 1921, to Leroy and Lena Karns Fish. She lived with her family in North Manchester until 1941.
Mary married Frederick Cooper Jr.
A celebration of her life will be at Timbercrest Chapel, North Manchester, on Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Karen Eberly and Pastor Amy Gall Ritchie officiating. The family of Mary Kathryn will receive friends following the memorial service.
For those who wish to honor the memory of Mary Kathryn Uhrig, a memorial contribution may be made to the Howard and John Uhrig Science Scholarship at Manchester University, 604 E. College Ave., North Manchester, IN 46962.
Those unable to attend Mary Kathryn Uhrig’s memorial service, will be able to watch it on the Timbercrest Senior Living YouTube channel.
The family of Mary Kathryn Uhrig has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
