Where Were The Christians?

Editor, Times-Union:
Where were all the pastors? Where were all the Christians?
My wife and I recently took part in a “Life Chain” event in Syracuse. A total of nine people showed up to hold signs with positive, life-supporting messages.
Nine people! Really? One of the nine shared that their pastor did not mention this event in that Sunday’s service, nor was the event stated in the church bulletin.
Our sincere question is: Where were the pastors? Where were the church members?
Yes, we are aware that pastors and church members are very busy; we all are. If supporting, and literally standing up for the most innocent and vulnerable of all those human beings among us (those in the womb) is not a top priority of those who identify as Christian, then we would ask sincerely, what is your top priority?
