Term Limits For The House

Americans, whether Republican, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, America First or third party, should be willing to endorse some form of term limits for the U.S. House of Representatives. Term limits for the U.S. House of Representatives should include the following:
• No more than five consecutive terms in a row. A decade in office is more than enough for Congressmen and women to make a difference and learn the job. Plus, if someone still wants to serve and return to office, they will just have to run for election again in a more competitive field instead of as an entrenched incumbent.
• There should also be an annual vote to retain election during the odd year of the Representatives term in office as a necessary performance evaluation done by voters.
• A “none of the above is acceptable” option should be placed on the ballot for incumbents or candidates who run unopposed in the primary and/or the general election. No candidate or incumbent should ever receive 100% of the vote. A completely unAmerican vote total in any election.
