Volleyball Sectionals
NorthWood at Wawasee

Wawasee’s volleyball season came to an end in the sectional championship game at home Saturday night, as the Lady Warriors fell 3-0 (6-25, 19-25, 13-25) to NorthWood. The Warriors end the season with a 12-18 record.
Abbi Burelison led her team in kills with six. Hannah Truex had 10 assists. Earlier on Saturday, Wawasee earned a 3-1 win over West Noble to advance to the championship game.
Wawasee will return next season.
Tippecanoe Valley vs. Culver Academies
Tippecanoe Valley saw its season come to an end at the hands of Culver Academies in the sectional championship game at Bremen Saturday night. The Lady Vikings fell 3-0 (12-25, 21-25, 14-25) and were eliminated. Tippy Valley defeated Bremen 3-2 (25-15, 21-25, 26-28, 25-9, 15-5) in the semifinal match earlier on Saturday to make it to the title game. The Lady Vikings end the season with a 20-12 record and will return next fall.
Manchester vs. Adams Central
Manchester’s season came to an end in the sectional semifinal game at Bluffton Saturday morning, as the Lady Squires fell 3-2 (25-22, 25-20, 13-25, 13-25, 10-15) to Adams Central. Manchester will return next season, ending its campaign with a 14-16 record.
Triton at Marquette Catholic
A great season for the Triton volleyball team was ended by host school Marquette Catholic in the sectional championship game Saturday night, as the Lady Trojans lost 3-1 (19-25, 17-25, 25-14, 9-25). The team ends the season with a 27-6 record.
Earlier in the day, Triton earned a 3-0 win over Argos to advance to the championship game. Addyson Viers had 12 kills and five aces in the semifinal match, while Sierra Hawley made eleven digs. Hannah Snyder had 23 assists.
Triton will return next season.
