At least four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of CR 250N and North Detroit Street.
According to information provided by Warsaw Police Department Capt. Brad Kellar, two of the people injured were taken to Lutheran Fort Wayne Hospital.
One vehicle was a gold Chrysler 200 with five occupants. The front-seat passenger was unconscious upon arrival of first responders, and the rear middle passenger went into seizures, and they were taken to Fort Wayne. Two of the passengers had minor injuries, including complaints of chest and head pain, and they were taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital.
The second vehicle was a white Chevy Traverse with four occupants. The driver possibly had a fractured back, according to information provided, and a front-seat passenger had a broken lower right leg and/or ankle. Two children in that vehicle were not injured.
The Chrysler 200 was eastbound along Jaylyn Street and disregarded the red light, according to information provided. The northbound Chevy Traverse hit the vehicle in a right-angle collision. Multiple witnesses were interviewed.
The investigation was still ongoing as of Monday afternoon and no further information was available.
