Boys Soccer
Tippecanoe Valley vs. Rochester

Tippecanoe Valley began sectional play with a win on Tuesday, defeating Rochester 2-0 at Fort Wayne Concordia. The Vikings are now 11-5-1 this season.
Tippecanoe Valley took on host school Concordia Lutheran on Wednesday evening. Details will be in tomorrow’s paper.
Girls Soccer
Wawasee vs. NorthWood

Wawasee’s girls soccer season came to an end on Tuesday evening as the Lady Warriors fell 5-0 to NorthWood at Lakeland in the opening round of sectionals. Wawasee ends the year with a 1-13-2 record. The Lady Warriors will return next season.
Boys Tennis
Warsaw vs. Penn

Warsaw boys tennis saw its season come to an end on Tuesday evening, as the Tigers fell 4-1 to Penn in the first round of regionals at NorthWood High School.
The lone Warsaw win came from the No. 1 doubles pairing of Khareus Miller and Drew Ryser, who earned a 1-6. 6-4, 6-3 win. As a winning No. 1 on a losing team, Miller and Ryser will advance in the state tournament as individuals. The No. 2 doubles pairing of Caleb Smith and Patrick Stump battled hard as well, eventually falling 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 in three sets.
Ryser and Miller will compete again, while the rest of the Tiger team will return next season.
Volleyball
Tippecanoe Valley at Rochester

Tippecanoe Valley won its third game in a row Tuesday, defeating Rochester 3-2 (18-25, 18-25, 28-26, 25-17, 15-7). The Lady Vikings are now 19-11 this season.
It was a night to remember for Valley’s Avery Wagoner, who reached the milestone of 1,000 assists for her career in the match.
The Lady Vikings’ next scheduled game will be Saturday, Oct. 14 against Bremen in sectional play.
Manchester at Wabash
Manchester wrapped up conference play with a win on Tuesday night, defeating Wabash 3-0 25-18, 25-17, 28-26) on the road. The Lady Squires are now 11-13 this season, 6-3 in the Three Rivers Conference.
McKelvey Espeset led the team in kills with 10. Peyton Ream had three aces, 13 digs and 33 aces. Hadley West had 14 digs to lead the team.
Manchester wraps up its regular season on Thursday against Blackhawk Christian.
Northfield at Whitko
Whitko volleyball dropped its penultimate regular season game to Northfield Tuesday, falling 3-0 (23-25, 14-25, 24-26) at home. The Lady ‘Cats are now 14-12 this season, 4-4 in the Three Rivers Conference. Whitko wraps up the regular season on Thursday against Rochester on the road.
Triton at Caston
Triton got back into the win column in a big way Tuesday evening, defeating Caston 3-1 (23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-21) on the road. The Lady Trojans are now 22-4 this season, 6-1 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.
Addyson Viers had 19 kills and three aces. Sierra Hawley had 27 digs while Hannah Snyder had 18 assists. Avery and Addyson Viers each had six blocks.
Triton wraps up its regular season on Thursday against South Central Union Mills.
