Warsaw Man Suffers Wrist Injury When Car Hits Trailer In Roadway

A Warsaw man suffered only a minor injury Thursday after his car hit the end of a parked trailer.
According to information provided by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Doug Light, Robert Conrad, 67, Warsaw, was driving a 2011 Ford Focus south on CR 300E. As he came over a hill, he was going to put his visor down as the sun was in his eyes and his car hit the back end of a parked trailer.
The incident happened at about 1:55 p.m. Thursday in front of 19 EMS C23 Lane, Warsaw.
The trailer, registered to Selge Leasing Inc., Niles, Mich., was on the roadway to be unloaded and detached from a semi, Light said.
Conrad was taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital for a wrist injury.
Along with the KCSO, responding to the scene were Lutheran EMS, Leesburg Fire and Ravens Wrecker Service.
