Francisca Stambaugh

November 30, 2023 at 6:31 p.m.

Francisca Stambaugh, age 73, passed away surrounded by her family on Nov. 29, 2023.
Born in Puerto Rico on Sept. 22, 1950, she was adopted by her parents William and Carmen Hernandez Dunn.
She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1971. Francisca dedicated nearly two decades of her life to serving the community she loved. She retired just this past May from the Warsaw Walmart after 19 years of service. Her commitment to excellence extended beyond Walmart as she had previously worked at Jomak and Warsaw Foundry.
As much as Francisca cherished her career she loved hard while enjoying her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she showed endless love for all her family and friends. Known for her caring nature and compassionate spirit, Francisca was always there for her loved ones when they needed support or guidance.
Francisca had a passion for animals and found joy in the companionship of her cat "Miss Daisy" and several parakeets. They brought light into her life and provided comfort during difficult times. However, it was her family that truly held the number one spot in her heart. Fishing trips with loved ones on Barbee Lake were cherished moments that created unforgettable memories. Additionally, Francisca loved spending quality time with her family while shopping in Shipshewana.
Francisca leaves behind her two children, Heather (Scott) Sandlin and Patrick Robinson, all of Warsaw; granddaughters, Destinee (Juliana Adamo) Moore, of California; and Sierra (Jonathan) Benson, of Churubusco; grandson, Cory Sandlin, of Warsaw; and one great-grandchild, Vincent. She also leaves behind special nieces and nephews, Jeremy and Katina Robinson; two bonus grandchildren, Killian and Robbie.
A Life Celebration® visitation will be held on Dec. 2 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Warsaw located at 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Titus Funeral Home to help assist the family with funeral expenses.
