ISP Warns Of Ongoing ‘Child Safety Kit’ Facebook Scam


Bowen Center’s identity is being used in a Caller ID Spoofing attack.
They are calling Indiana residents pretending to be Bowen Center to get Medicare/Medicaid information, according to a news release from Bowen Center.
Bowen Center cannot stop an attacker from doing this nor can it identify the attacker. However, it can send out a warning to alert Indiana residents, the release states.
Bowen Center does not call patients or potential patients to obtain Medicare/Medicaid information. If anyone receives a call from someone claiming to be from Bowen Center seeking Medicare/Medicaid information, they are not from Bowen Center. Do not provide any personal information to them.
Bowen Center does everything in its power to protect the private information of its patients and staff, according to the release.
Bowen Center started as a non-profit Community Mental Health Center in northern Indiana in 1961. The center now serves Hoosiers from Indianapolis north treating patients with mental and behavioral health care, primary health care, addiction recovery treatment and life skills coaching services.
