AKRON — An estimate for the completion date of Tippecanoe Valley High School's construction project still hasn't shifted from the last time it was done.
That's according to The Skillman Corp. Project Manager Scott Rogers. He provided the information at the Tippecanoe Valley School Board's monthly public work session on Thursday.
The Skillman Corp. is the construction management company for the project.
"Some of it is going slowly in certain areas, like the roofing right now is going a little slowly ... but we are making up for that in other areas like utilities," he said.
Rogers said the project should be completed around July.
"We are currently doing all the foundations for the last set of risers" in the auditorium, he said.
Piping in the pool area is still being worked on as is brickwork in the weight room area, Rogers said. The 50,000-gallon underground fire-suppression water tank has been put in.
Plans for the next month include painting in the pool area, finishing the decking on the auditorium and putting in stairs there and finishing roofing in the weight room area.
