North Webster Tree-Lighting Festivities Are Saturday

NORTH WEBSTER - The North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce will be hosting North Webster’s annual tree-lighting festivities on Saturday, Nov. 18, with activities staring around town at 4 p.m. and the tree lighting at 6:15 p.m.
Visit with Santas Claus at the fire house from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The Wawasee Student Council will assist with the visits with Santa.
Sleigh rides at the fire house also are 4 to 5:30 p.m.
The ATV Light Parade begins at 5:45 p.m.
Around town, Tangibles will be offering free chili and live reindeer. Jill and Jennifer’s will have free hot dogs and bring donations for the food pantry. The River will have free hot chocolate and a balloon arch photo area. Pilcher’s will have a drawing for a free pair of shoes.
Open from 4 to 7:30 p.m., Palace of Wellness will have discounts and sales on holiday merchandise, as well as holiday gift boxes and bundles.
A live Elf on the Shelf will be at Pine Outdoor Apparel for pictures.
Sue’s Creations will be offering 50% Christmas gifts and decor and get entered into a $100 drawing for in-house purchase of Christmas gifts with a purchase the night of the event. There will be free carnations for ladies, light refreshments and booths set up by Jerky Jerks and Kinetic Firearms.
Bring a donation to Roll N Smoke for the North Webster food pantry and get $2 off your total purchase; $5 off T-shirt with food purchase while supplies last.
Entertainment for the night will include Story Time on Pilcher’s Lawn by the North Webster Library; North Webster Elementary School Kids Choir; a sing-along with Clint Olson and Matt Murdock on trumpet.
Other activities include: Northwest Bank, create a Christmas button inside Pilcher’s with North Webster Elementary’s ambassadors; North Webster Community Center, make reindeer food on Pilcher’s lawn with Wawasee National Honor Society; and Girl Scout Troop 57002 will have a craft table on Pilcher’s lawn.
