Patricia J. “Pat” Detwiler, 92, formerly of Warsaw, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, at Cedar Creek Assisted Living Facility in Bloomington.
She was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Elkhart, to Donald V. and Mary Ruth Sweeney Lemmon.
Pat married Ora Frederick “Fred” Detwiler on Oct. 23, 1951, in Elkhart. Fred died Aug. 1, 2023.
Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Pat’s life will be celebrated with a service immediately following visitation at 1 p.m. officiated by her sons, Ken and Larry Detwiler; and daughter, Sharon Sanders. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Fred.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 501 E. Arthur St., Warsaw, IN 46580.
