Angeline Marie ‘Jean’ Politano

NORTH MANCHESTER – Angeline Marie "Jean" Politano, 84, of rural North Manchester, formerly of Anderson, died peacefully at 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, at her home.
She was born on Sept. 12, 1939, in Aliquippa, Pa., to Vincenzo and Lucia Rivetti Mastellino.
Jean was a 1957 graduate of Aliquippa High School. She married Guido Politano in Aliquippa on Sept. 2, 1961.
She is survived by her husband, Guido Politano, of North Manchester; five children: Domenic (Sondra) Politano, of North Manchester; Lucille (Rob) Ziegler, of Greenwood; Carmin Politano, Angelica (Paul) Frommeyer, of Batesville; and Vincent (Joanna) Politano, of Westville; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four sisters: Mary Taormina, Fannie (Jim) Showrank, Lucy Coladonato and Janet Anderson, all of Aliquippa. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers: Tony Mastellino, Patsy Mastellino and Lou Mastellino.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at the North Manchester United Methodist Church, 306 E. 2nd St., North Manchester. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, at the church. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, North Manchester.
