Rosemary Horton

Rosemary Horton, 98, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Warsaw, passed away October 28, 2023.
Rosemary was born to Waymon and Margaret Hagen Goldman in French Lick, Indiana, on Nov. 22, 1924. In her early 20s, she moved to Indianapolis where she met her husband, William E. “Bill” Horton. He preceded her in death in 1971.
Rosemary is survived by daughters, Carolyn Mock and Connie Horton; grandchildren: Mary Beth Mock Kubik, Michael Mock and Eric Neville; great-grandsons, Will Kubik and Ben Kubik; one brother, Bob Goldman; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Nicholas Kubik; four brothers and five sisters.
Rosemary was a member of Warsaw First United Methodist Church and volunteered in the church office after she retired from Dahms and Yarian. In addition to enjoying spending time with family, she was an avid reader and enjoyed watching IU basketball and the Colts and gardening. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling in a women’s league and socializing with her teammates.
Rosemary has been cremated and interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw at a later date. A celebration of life will be held at that time.
