The Northern Lakes Conference announced the all-conference teams as well as honorable mentions for each spring sport. The following area athletes were selected for their outstanding work this spring.

Baseball

All-Conference selections: Kellan Bailey, Kyle Showley, Josh Shapiro (Warsaw) and Daniel Wilson (Wawasee)

Honorable Mentions: Cohen Heady, Jette Woodward (Warsaw) and Ty Brooks (Wawasee)

Softball

All-Conference selections: Lauren Eastwood (Warsaw), Haylee Allen and Arisai Garcia (Wawasee)

Honorable Mentions: Kalista Ousley (Warsaw) and Jaclynn Worrell (Wawasee)

Girls Tennis

All-Conference selections: No. 1 singles Addie Lind (Warsaw), No. 1 singles Kiah Farrington (Wawasee) and No. 3 singles Emma Van Puffelen (Warsaw)

Boys Golf

All-Conference selections: Aidan Bowell, Breckin Christner, Austin Craig (Warsaw) and Vaughn Dyson (Wawasee)

Honorable Mentions: Dylan Barkley (Warsaw) and Myles Everingham (Wawasee)

Boys Track and Field

All-Conference selections: Jordan Randall, James Leiter, Morgan Johnson (Warsaw) and Lucas Linder (Wawasee)

Honorable Mentions: Tyler Mimnaugh (Warsaw) and Derek Bontrager (Wawasee)

Coach of the Year: Scott Erba (Warsaw)

Girls Track and Field

All-Conference selections: Ali Barkey, Madison Smalley, Josefina Rastrelli, MiKayla Mimnaugh, Elliana Transparenti, Camryn Burner, Anna Bazzoni (Warsaw), Emma Yoder and Brooklynn Gibson (Wawasee)

Honorable Mentions: Annie Parker (Warsaw) and Kaydence Shepherd (Wawasee)

Coach of the Year: Megan Davis (Warsaw)

With two massive wins already under their belt in the early season, the Warsaw girls basketball team returned to the Tiger Den for the home opener against Fort Wayne Snider Thursday night. The Lady Tigers were able to shake off a slow start and explode in the third quarter to remain undefeated with a 74-45 win.
