Advocate CCM Offers Worker’s Compensation Case Management

Wednesday, the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the fairly new business.
Kassie Timmins, owner of Advocate CCM, said her company provides worker’s compensation nurse case management.
“I assist injured workers in getting them back to work in a timely but safe manner,” she explained. “We are independently hired by the employer or the adjuster. So, basically, what we do is we help everyone - the doctor, the employer, the adjuster, the injured worker. We educate, help them understand the process, get approvals on treatment recommendations and follow the injured worker throughout their claim.”
She said the employer or adjuster typically is who hires Advocate CCM.
“Those are the only people I really work with. We pretty much are just the facilitator of everything. We just manage the whole file,” Timmins stated.
She’s only been in business for a couple months, but she’s been a nurse for 14 years and a certified case manager for five years.
