Brittney Jean Shepherd and Zachary Darin McDaniel, Syracuse, announced the birth of a son.

Fox Darin McDaniel was born at 12:20 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2023, at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and measured 20-1/2 inches.

Grandparents are Melissa Staton, Warsaw; Cristine and Travis Marsh, North Webster; and Trena and Terry McDaniel, Warsaw.

Great-grandparents are Anne and Bill Troup, Milford; and Jeanetta and Jack McDaniel, Warsaw.

Fox has four sisters: Alixzandra, 13; Marley, 11; Rebel, 7; and Royal, 5.
