• 8:33 p.m. Sunday - April Jean Papineau, 42, Kankakee, Ill., arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, legend drug fraud and possession of a controlled substance. Bond: $5,250.

• 10:58 p.m. Sunday - Jose Hernandez, 27, of 3762 W. Old 30, #521A, Warsaw, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 11:38 p.m. Sunday - Damien Wayde Petersen, 33, of 506 S. Detroit St., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $5,250.

• 11:42 p.m. Sunday - Elizabeth Ileane Likens, 36, of 1821 Sharon Street, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. No bond set.

• 12:22 a.m. Monday - Leahann Mahns, 49, of 811 S. Main St., North Webster, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated - endangerment and operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license. Bond: $700.

• 11:57 a.m. Monday - Robert Gordon Wyatt, 31, homeless, arrested for felony probation violation. Bond: $5,250.

• 12:57 p.m. Monday - Wesley Wayne McConnehey, 32, Fort Wayne, arrested for felony failure to appear. Bond: $500.

• 1:36 p.m. Monday - Austin Ray Hoover, 40, of 104 S. Harrison St., North Webster, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $500.

• 12:42 p.m. Friday - North Lake Street, 197 feet north of North Columbia Street, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Angela J. Hochstetler, 23, West CR 850N, Etna Green; Merla M. Ousley, 70, Rivercrest Drive, Warsaw. Injuries: Hochstetler complained of back pain; Ousley complained of chest pain. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 9:55 p.m. Friday - North CR 175E, 1,500 feet north of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Car went into embankment. Driver: Roxanna M. Collins, 17, South Phillips Street, Warsaw. Injuries: Collins complained of elbow/lower arm pain; passengers Aden J. Patko, 17, East Robby Drive, Warsaw, had a minor burn to the face and complained of rib pain; Kevin A. Maldonado-Orne, 16, East North Winds Drive, Warsaw, complained of back pain and had a laceration to the right arm; Carli M. Butt, 17, Widaman Street, Winona Lake, complained of head pain and had a laceration to the wrist. All occupants of the vehicle were taken to the hospital. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 8:03 a.m. Saturday - North CR 175E, 1,000 feet north of East CR 175N, Warsaw. Car-motorcycle collision. Drivers: Diana Velaquez, 20, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg; Ryan M. Sutton, 22, East County Line Road, Syracuse. Injury: Sutton had a head injury on the right side and he complained or right arm and leg pain; he was flown by Lutheran Air Ambulance to a hospital in Fort Wayne. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSO.

• 3:44 a.m. Sunday - A traffic stop was initiated for a person in possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish and operating a vehicle while intoxicated in the 1200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. WPD.

• 6:09 a.m. Sunday - A person was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license and resisting a law enforcement officer using a vehicle in the 1200 block of Fisher Avenue, Warsaw. WPD.

Warsaw Battles Back Down 21-0 To Stun NorthWood 35-21
While Warsaw did not get the start that it wanted facing off against Northern Lakes Conference foe NorthWood Friday night, the Tigers certainly got the finish they were looking for. Down 21-0 early in the contest, Warsaw battled back, scoring the last 35 points of the game to pick up a 35-21 win in Nappanee, the school’s first since 2012.
