The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 10:40 a.m. Tuesday - Dustin Michael Helbig, 31, of 1905 N. Brook Blvd., Warsaw, arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle. Bond: $5,250.

• 2:23 p.m. Tuesday - Justin Wayde Siede, 31, of 9752 S. Pheasant Place, Claypool, arrested for invasion of privacy. Bond: $1,500.

• 12:41 a.m. Wednesday - Timothy Paul Smullen, 58, of 108 E. Arthur St., Sidney, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 2:28 p.m. Tuesday - East U.S. 30, 30 feet west of Arnolt Drive, Pierceton. Car-tractor-semi-trailer collision. Drivers: Madison L. Quinn, 19, Fort Wayne; Hunter R. Douglas, 23, Genoa City, Wis. Injury: Quinn had a contusion/bruise to the head. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 3:19 a.m. Tuesday - West CR 700S, 344 feet east of South CR 400W, Claypool. Car hit deer. Driver: Aaron J. Hoffman, 38, EMS B34 Lane, Warsaw. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. KCSD.

• 6:52 p.m. Tuesday - U.S. 30, 35 feet east of Orthopedic Drive, Warsaw. Two-tractor-semi-trailer collision. Drivers: Narcis Sarajlic, 50, Fort Wayne; Oleh Plaksii, 34, Chicago. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.



Incidents

• 5:39 p.m. Tuesday - Tools were reported stolen in the 800 block of West CR 400N, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 8:15 p.m. Tuesday - A person was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and resisting law enforcement in the 1100 block of North Lake View Avenue, Syracuse. Syracuse Police Department investigated.
