Lake City Bank announced the following promotions.

Chris Wiggins has been promoted to senior vice president, commercial south regional manager. In this position, Wiggins specializes in providing lending solutions to businesses and business owners. In addition, he manages workflow for the commercial and industrial bankers in Kosciusko County and surrounding counties. He has been with the bank for 18 years.

Wiggins earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Gardner-Webb University. He is a board member of the Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation (KEDCO), a Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce board member, and treasurer of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice and Baker Youth Club. Wiggins volunteers as a basketball coach with AGAITAS and Tiger Basketball Academy.

Melissa Blosser has been promoted to first vice president, retail banking regional manager. Blosser oversees the 10 bank branches in St. Joseph and Elkhart counties and provides support to their individual office managers. She has been with the bank for 13 years.

Blosser attended Cedarville University and is a graduate of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy. She is a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County, Habitat for Humanity Inc., and Ryan’s Place. Jeannine Cooley, CRCM, has been promoted to first vice president, CRA compliance and security manager. In this position, Cooley leads the bank's Compliance Department, managing the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), fair lending and state and federal regulatory activity and also manages the bank’s Facilities Security Department. Cooley has been with the bank for 37 years and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).

Among other interests, Cooley volunteers with Lincoln Caring Families of Lincoln Elementary in Huntington.

Tim Schlichte has been promoted to first vice president, commercial banking officer. In this position, Schlichte develops relationships with commercial clients to provide financing and banking solutions. He has been with the bank for 10 years.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Xavier University. Schlichte also a completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He serves on the board of directors for Indiana Wish.

Reneta Thurairatnam, CFP®, CTFA, has been promoted to first vice president, senior wealth advisor, in the bank’s Wealth Advisory Group. In this position, Thurairatnam works with clients to provide advice and access to all of the bank’s wealth management services including financial planning, trust administration, investment management and estate planning. She has been with the bank for more than eight years. Thurairatnam has Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) certifications.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in business economics with a minor in management from Huntington University and a master of business administration degree with a concentration in international business from the University of Saint Francis. Thurairatnam is a Leadership Fort Wayne graduate and recipient of the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly Forty Under 40 award. She is a Parkview Foundation board member, and a board member and treasurer of Humane Fort Wayne. In this role, Himes coordinates Automated Clearing House (ACH) compliance and administrative activities, oversees ACH processes and supports the ACH team through training and development. Phil Nguyen has been promoted to investment officer. Nguyen manages investment portfolios and provides financial planning services for Wealth Advisory Group clients. He has been with the bank for six years. Nguyen earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and a Bank Management Certification from Purdue University Fort Wayne. He is a member of the Investment & Wealth Institute (IWI) and Risk Management Association (RMA).

Kim Orr has been promoted to retail banking officer at the bank’s Mentone branch. In this position, Orr leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for 27 years. Orr volunteers with Junior Achievement.

Jackie Stout has been promoted to technology services officer and manager. In this position, Stout manages the PC Technician team that provides service and timely hardware support throughout the bank. She also oversees the bank’s internal help desk. She has been with the bank for nearly a year. Stout earned an associate degree in computer information systems networking specialist from Ivy Tech Community College.
