Professional Roofing Solutions To Host 2nd Annual Cancer Event
By Staff Report-
The event, dubbed the 2nd Annual Free Movie Day, will begin at 1 p.m. at North Pointe Cinemas, Warsaw, on March 25. In 2022, the company raised more than $7,000 in the event’s inaugural year.
“We decided a long time ago that if we’re going to be part of this community and make our livelihood here, we’re going to help that very same community as much as we can,” said PRS owner Brandon Blair.
For this year’s event, PRS again partnered with North Pointe Cinemas to provide a free movie for the community. This year’s offering is “Shazam: Fury of the Gods.” The movie is the sequel to the 2019 film “Shazam” starring Zachary Levi.
For the benefit of a local family struggling with the ravages of cancer, PRS has partnered with local businesses and community members to raise funds through cash donations and items that will be available for bid in a silent auction at the event.
At the movie, which will play back to back for three viewings, freewill donations will be accepted.
PRS will be accepting donations in either the form of cash or items for silent auction until 5 p.m. March 24. To participate in the fundraiser, call 574-551-7663.
