Karen S. White
By -
She was born in Batesville, on June 1, 1947, the daughter of Donald and Verna Priest White. She was a 1965 graduate of Pendleton High School. Professionally, Karen worked at Parker Hannifin for many years. A devoted Catholic, she joined the Catholic Church at the age of 18, later becoming a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warsaw.
Karen was a kind and genuine person who was a friend to all. Most called her their “bonus mom,” especially when living in Bluffton. She loved to spread her love and joy for the Lord with anyone who crossed her path throughout her life. She enjoyed reading the Bible and listening to EWTN. She also loved being with children, animals of all kinds, dancing, singing and just having fun.
Those who survive with broken hearts include her twin sister, Sharen White; sister, Ramona (Joe) Clayborn; and her beloved cat, Maggie. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in passing by her parents and a sister, Marlene Kluesner.
Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with Karen’s care. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw, at 10 a.m. with the rosary service starting at 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m. Karen will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery.
Memorial gifts are appreciated to the Animal Welfare League or Sacred Heart Catholic Church while written condolences may be left at www.TitusFuneralHome.com.
