FORT WAYNE - The Indiana State Police, along with the family of Master Trooper James Bailey, have finalized Bailey’s visitation and funeral arrangements.

The route of the procession is still being determined and those details will be released as soon as they are finalized, according to a news release from ISP.

Visitation is Friday, March 10 from 2 to 8 p.m. at County Line Church of God, 7716 N. County Line Road E., Auburn.

Funeral services are Saturday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at Garrett High School, 801 E. Houston St., Garrett. The burial is Saturday, March 11, immediately following procession at Calvary Cemetery, 600 S. Hamsher St., Garrett.

The Indiana Fallen Heroes Foundation has established an official memorial fund to honor Master Trooper James R. Bailey.

On March 3, Master Trooper James R. Bailey was killed in the line of duty after being struck by a vehicle on I-69, south of Auburn in DeKalb County while trying to deploy stop sticks to de-escalate an incident in which a vehicle was fleeing from the Fort Wayne Police Department.
