John N. Deaton

John was born Oct. 6, 1948, in Warsaw, the son of the late Max G. and Lena Mae Pollock Deaton. He was united in marriage to Janet Weber on Dec. 29, 1973, in West Lafayette.
He retired as a printer journeyman for R.R. Donnelley Printing Company. John enjoyed farming, collecting baseball cards, coins and he especially cherished the time he spent with his grandkids and family. He attended Manchester College and he proudly served his country as a member of the Indiana National Guard.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Janet Deaton, of Claypool; daughter, Angela (Eric) Jungbauer, of Providence, Utah; grandchildren, Jaclyn and Mary Jungbauer; brother, Jerry (JoEllen) Deaton; sister Jaynn Stoops, both of Warsaw; and three nephews.
A visitation with family and friends will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 3 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services in celebration of John’s life will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
