AKRON – Maria Lynn Arnett, 80, Akron, died at 2:02 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.

Maria was born Sept. 25, 1942, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Jim and Pearlie Slone Johnson. She was married Oct. 11, 1958, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Adam Arnett Sr., who died May 2, 2014.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 30 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastors Junior Arnett, Loren Bradley and Terry Bradford officiating. Interment will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake, next to her husband. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 29 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
