Danco Medical Announces Expansion Of Capabilities At New Site In Warsaw

By Staff Report-

Danco Medical – part of the Lincotek Group – will launch a second production site in Warsaw early in 2024 to add capacity in aluminum anodizing and deep image graphics.

The investment means that OEMs and manufacturing partners will be able to get their products to market even faster, according to a news release from Danco Medical.

Global solution provider Lincotek – based out of Parma, Italy – announced its acquisition of a majority stake in Danco Medical in February 2022. Danco can trace its history all the way back to 1971. The business is known as a one-stop-shop for surface preparation and finishing solutions, providing a wide range of product identification methods to medical orthopedic device companies, the release states. It is also a leader in aluminum and titanium anodizing.

Deep image graphics are the industry-leading graphics process used on orthopedic delivery systems, but they are seeing growing popularity in other sectors, too. Danco will add automation and larger tanks for the anodizing process, allowing the business to handle more volume and deal with larger-sized parts. The project is vital to the company’s commitment to serving its existing and prospective customers better through a streamlined process and a fluid transition at every stage, according to the release.

The new facility - around 25,000 square feet - will be next door to the existing one on Executive Boulevard, Warsaw, approximately 125 miles north of Indianapolis.

“Through this investment, we’ll continue our long-standing commitment to our customers with best-in-class service,” said Tim Zentz, general manager of Danco Medical. “We look forward to making this next chapter in our story a success, continuing our partnership with new and existing customers and drawing upon this added capacity.”

Gennaro D’Andrea, general manager of Lincotek Medical Division, commented, “We are continuing our global investment program to support OEMs - globally. Danco Medical and Lincotek share the same set of values around service, reliability and customer orientation and, together, we are committed to deliver even more valuable solutions.”

A Lincotek Group Company Headquartered in Warsaw, DANCO Medical has been meeting the needs of medical device companies for technically superior surface preparation and finishing, providing titanium and aluminum anodizing of machined parts, implants, instruments and devices, as well as electropolishing, passivation and LFCC, the release states. Known for its ability to maintain quality requirements, to meet short deadlines and to retain detailed records, Danco Medical with around 165 employees, maintains its facilities in Warsaw to ISO 13485 certification standards.

Lincotek Lincotek, headquartered in Rubbiano, Parma, Italy, is a global solution provider for services in niche markets including industrial gas turbines, aviation and medical device applications, as well as a leading manufacturer of industrial coating equipment and one of the most respected producers in the additive manufacturing field. The group is family-owned and has more than 1,700 employees located in 20 production facilities across Europe, North America and Asia.
