No Defense For Trump

Donald Trump has no defense for his recent indictment in Florida. The case against him is as solid as it is shocking.
Lacking a defense for a problem he brought up himself, Trump is attacking the Department of Justice, and claiming that President Biden is weaponizing the DOJ. There's a reason Trump is so knowledgeable about weaponizing the DOJ: He became an expert at it during his presidency. He's hoping you forgot.
When Trump was president, he regularly used the DOJ to go after political opponents. Trump treated the DOJ like it was his own personal hit squad. He demanded loyalty from those in the DOJ, and fired FBI Director James Comey when he refused. Trump ordered up investigations of Hillary Clinton, and even tried to get a foreign country to dig up dirt on Joe Biden.
Republicans, including Ron Desantis, are jumping on the DOJ weaponization bandwagon in hopes of winning over Trump's base. This is the Ron Desantis who uses the power of the state to punish those who oppose him. Most notably, Disney. While Trump may be able to convince a friendly Florida jury and a Trump appointed judge that he's innocent, the truth will remain the same. Donald Trump is guilty.
