BOURBON – Shirley Ann Miller Thompson passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the age of 86.

Born May 18, 1937, she was the second child of Ralph Edward Miller and Ruth Gladys Felter Miller.

She will be missed by her children, Melody (Steven “Skip”) Miller, Brian (Janet) Thompson and David (Mindy) Thompson.

She loved working on her ancestral genealogy. She was an extraordinary crafter, seamstress and gardener. She graduated from Bourbon High School. She was employed at OEC, Bourbon, and retired from Biomet in Warsaw. She attended Camp Creek Church in Etna Green.

Her siblings include Chester (Joyce) Miller, Elkhart, deceased; and Les (Deanna) Miller, of Kodak, Tenn. Shirley is survived by her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A granddaughter, Brook Lynn Thompson, preceded her in death.

At her wish, there will be a private family burial with a celebration of life to follow in the future.
