Questa Committed To Donor Relationships, Welcomes Development Director

FORT WAYNE – Questa Education Foundation announced Nicole Penar has joined their team, welcoming her as development director.
This new role is devoted to individual donor support, and Penar has accepted this position with enthusiasm toward building relationships aligning with Questa’s commitment to educational and economic advancement in Northeast Indiana, according to a news release from the Questa Education Foundation.
Penar steps into this position with a wealth of knowledge and will cultivate relationships with community partners, individual donors and Questa’s alumni network, stated the release. She will also lead major gift programs, identifying opportunities for partnerships to create a positive economic impact on the region.
“I am proud to be part of an organization that makes further education possible while driving regional success,” said Penar. “With nearly 75% of Questa Scholars staying in our region, Questa serves as a catalyst for workforce development, fueling a thriving economy and supporting local businesses.”
Penar has a passion for education and has deep roots in Northeast Indiana as a lifelong resident. Deeply committed to her community, Penar actively volunteers at various organizations such as Junior League, Junior Achievement, and Miss Virginia’s Mission House. She has served as the president of Junior League and continues to be an active member. Her exceptional leadership skills were recognized by the Foellinger Foundation when she was selected for the Rising Leader Program. She has also received the Active of the Year Award from the Junior League of Fort Wayne and was nominated for the Rising Star award by the Association of Junior Leagues International.
Before joining Questa, Penar held positions at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana, Shelton Financial Group and Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana. She holds a bachelor's degree from Purdue University in organizational leadership and supervision, specializing in education.
