Lighthouse Autism Center, a leading provider of center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, announced a new center location in Warsaw.
Lighthouse Autism Center is currently the largest ABA provider in Indiana with a network of locations across Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Iowa, according to a news release from the Lighthouse Autism Center. The Winona Lake Autism Center is Lighthouse’s second center to open in the Warsaw area. The center opened on Monday and will provide autism services to 25 families and create over 35 new jobs in the area.
Autism spectrum disorder is one of the fastest-growing developmental disorders, with approximately 1 in 36 children in the U.S. being diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As the need for services grow, Lighthouse Autism Center continues to pursue its mission of bringing the highest quality autism therapy to communities that need them, the release states.
The Lighthouse Autism Center will hold an open house from 2 to 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at 109 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw.
People will have a chance to tour the therapy center, learn more about services and Fusion therapy program, learn about the enrollment process, network with clinicians and other parents and enjoy light refreshments.
Lighthouse Autism Center offers autism therapy in a natural, play-based environment that encourages children to explore their natural interests. At the newest center in Warsaw, children will have the opportunity to benefit from Lighthouse Fusion, a clinical model that fuses the best practices of ABA and speech therapy into one approach to autism treatment.
