PIERCETON – Pierceton Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting Thursday for Bluebird & Co., 123 N. 1st St., Pierceton.
Bluebird & Co., owned by Kathy and Alicia Evans, has been in business since May.
Kathy said the reason they started the store was because they both love home décor, it is close to home and it allows Alicia to be with her children.
Kathy said she hopes people are able to find bargains when shopping at Bluebird as they are focusing on good cost.
Items available include jewelry, home décor, clothing, furniture, gifts and collectibles.
So far, Kathy and Alicia are the only two employees, but when asked if Bluebird has any plans on expansion, Kathy said they may possibly expand their store a little bit in the future.
Hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
