Judy A. Fleming, 76, unexpectedly passed away at home on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
Judy was born July 28, 1946, in Corryton, Tenn., to Jack and Edith Stanifer Earl.
On Aug. 16, 1986, Judy married Jimmy Fleming and raised four children.
Judy worked for Da-Lite Screen Company for 30 years as a shipping supervisor until her retirement.
Judy’s favorite thing to do was to be on the pontoon with her husband and spending time with her family. She loved getting ready for the annual Fleming Fish-a-thon and their 4th of July parties. She enjoyed singing Pasty Cline on the karaoke and playing Sudoku. Judy worked many fundraisers for the Kosciusko County Shriner’s Club.
She told her family that the most important ingredient in any recipe was love, and insisted that she loved us, more. She made the best scrambled eggs and pb&j.
She is dearly missed by her husband, Jimmy; and children: Rick Lattea, Steve Lattea and James (Amanda) Fleming; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters: Betty, Don, Jane, Pat; and half brother Ron; three sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Fleming; her parents; two brothers, Albert and Ray; and her favorite pet Smokey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 20 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor William Whitaker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
