LSC Communications Gives To Big Brothers Big Sisters

LSC Communications, 2801 W. Old 30, Warsaw, made a $1,500 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana on Monday.
John Pierog, vice president of manufacturing for LSC Communications, said the company sponsored an Earth Day activity and did some projects to clean up and improve the environment. As part of that, there was a contest and the plant location that won received an opportunity to make a donation. Employees voted on various charities and it was decided LSC would donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
He said there were many LSC employees that were touched by BBBS, whether they participated in the organization in someway or were recipients of their services in the past.
Tammy Smith, community development director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana, said the donation will be used for services within Kosciusko County, including recruiting volunteers and support services.
