NOTICE  OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ORDINANCE

BY THE TOWN OF ETNA GREEN, INDIANA

    Pursuant to Indiana Code 5-3-1, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Etna Green, Indiana will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the Etna Green Town Hall, 106 South Walnut Street, Etna Green, Indiana 46524, to hear public input and consider the enactment of an ordinance whereby the Town of Etna Green Town Council increases sewer rates for each residence or establishment by $8.55 per month for every 4,000 gallons of water that are used.

    Information regarding the proposed sewer rate increase is available for inspection in the office of the Etna Green Clerk-Treasurer located at 106 South Walnut Street, Etna Green, Indiana 46524. Said information can be reviewed Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    The public hearing is open to all and the opportunity to be heard is given to all. Written comments filed with the Etna Green Clerk-Treasurer prior to the public hearing will be considered. Written comments can be submitted to [email protected] or mailed to P.O. Box 183, Etna Green, Indiana 46524. Letters may also be submitted. The public hearing may be continued from time to time as necessary. Questions regarding the proposed ordinance should be directed to the Etna Green Clerk- Treasurer’s Office at (574) 858-9321.
