Boys Basketball

Manchester at Whitko


Manchester added another win to its tally Tuesday night, defeating Whitko 71-46 on the road. The Squires improve to 16-5 this season while the Wildcats fall to 5-16.

Gavin Betten scored 24 points to pace Manchester. Following him where Gavin Martin with 17 points and Tyler McLain with 13. Both teams will wrap up their regular seasons on Friday, with the Squires traveling to Mississinewa and the Wildcats taking on Lakeland Christian in Winona Lake.

Bremen at Triton

Triton used a big fourth quarter to sneak out a win against Bremen Tuesday night, defeating the visitors 43-42 at the Trojan Trench. Triton is now 12-9 this winter.

Cole Shively scored 16 points to lead all scorers. Julian Swanson added eight points in support while Anthony Schuh scored seven to go with nine rebounds.

The Trojans play their final regular season game Friday night at Knox.

Lakeland Christian at Fort Wayne Canterbury

Lakeland Christian fought hard but was unable to pick up a win Tuesday night, falling 48-42 to Fort Wayne Canterbury. The Cougars are now 17-5 this season.

Seth Martin was his usual self, scoring 26 points in the game. Alex Cook scored seven while Ben Jackson added five to round out the top three scorers for LCA.

Lakeland Christian hosts Whitko Friday night in its regular season finale.
