Lake City Bank Presents ‘22 Commitment Award To Chris Merrill

“The Commitment Award recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond in representing the bank, both internally and externally,” said David M. Merrill joined Lake City Bank in 2006 and has served as vice president, technology services manager since 2017. In this role, he is responsible for the daily operations of the technology services department, which supports the bank’s network and technology users. He also plays a key role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives for the bank. Merrill is president of the Warsaw Community Public Library Board of Trustees.
Merrill’s teammates, who nominated him for the award, noted that he managed through key transitions on the technology services and information security teams, and helped ensure a smooth transition for team members, leadership and the bank as a whole. At the same time, Merrill led the bank through two key examinations in which the bank maintained the highest rating possible for all technology related areas. As the leader of a group that provides service to each and every part of the bank, Merrill sets the tone and a high standard for service delivery. He is known for listening, troubleshooting and sharing ideas., according to the release.
