David was born on Dec. 10, 1950, in Plymouth, to the late Howard C. and Faye Fisher Arnold. He was married on June 6, 1970, in the Harrison Center Church to Peggy S. Long, who preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 2022.
He was a 1970 graduate of LaVille High School. He also received certifications for commercial driving. David drove a truck for local elevators and later served as a security guard from various factories. In his free time, he enjoyed doing all kinds of woodworking.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela Bussie, of Warsaw; sons, David Arnold Jr., of Winona Lake; and Jason Arnold, of Warsaw; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy; a brother and two sisters.
The funeral will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14 at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Pastor Jim Gilmer officiating. Private family interment will take place in the Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green, next to his wife. Visitation hours will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14 at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
