Tracy S. Rutledge, 57, of Monroeville, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Tracy was born on Feb. 14, 1966, in Winamac, the daughter of Roger L. and Susan Moore Barton. She was united in marriage to Ken Rutledge on Dec. 10, 2016.
She was a 1985 graduate from Warsaw Community High School. She worked as the assistant manager for Druley Enterprises (Belmont Beverage) in Fort Wayne for eight years. Tracy cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and enjoyed family camping and cookouts together. One of her favorite hobbies included diamond art and she was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
Tracy will be lovingly remembered by husband, Ken Rutledge, of Monroeville; children: Heather Harris, of Warsaw; Garnet (Rick) Harrell, of Fort Wayne; Ryan (Jodi) Cook, of Warsaw; and Allan Abbott Jr., of Monroeville; her mother, Sue Barton, of Warsaw; siblings: Donald Barton, LeAnn Bennett, John Mattson, Jason Barton, all of Warsaw; Cory Barton, of Fort Wayne; and Holly Davis, of California. In addition, Tracy is survived by five grandchildren: Larry “L.J.” Bartley, Kanian Bartley, Gage Bartely, all of Warsaw; Nevaeh Shepherd and Noah Hoskin, both of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in passing by her father, Roger Barton; sister-in-law, Kimberly Barton; brother-in law, Kevin Bennett; grandparents, Ralph and Garnet Moore; five nephews and one niece.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services in celebration of Tracy’s life will begin at 6 p.m. in the chapel with Steve Neeley and Chaplain Charlie and Jo Albertson officiating. Interment is private.
The family kindly request memorial donations to assist the family may be made to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, IN 46580.
