More Lies

Editor, Times-Union:
Just because you want to believe a lie that others want to believe doesn't make it the truth. When our government wants to believe what Iran and its supporters say, I know they don't know what the Koran says. According to the Koran, Muslims are not supposed to lie to other Muslims. But it is all right for Muslims to lie to people like us because we are considered infidels. Maybe that is why Biden wants to give more money to Iran and the enemies of Israel than to Israel. He believes in lying to those he considers infidels like MAGA supporters that love America more than he does.
Many on the Left want to believe lies. When a newspaper tries to excuse intifada as meaning change and not the elimination of the Jews from Israel, Iran and Hamas probably laugh at their gullibility. From the river to the sea is as anti-Jewish as when the Nazis wanted the final solution to deal with the supposed Jewish problem. Hamas must be destroyed. That won't bring eternal peace to Israel. That will only happen when Christ establishes his millennial kingdom in Jerusalem and Israel expands to its God-ordained borders.
Democrats want to believe lies about Trump. Some still think the Russians helped him get elected in 2016. Those who said a few years ago they had proof never showed the nonexistent proof. Democrats want to believe the lie that Joe Biden did nothing impeachable. He was the Big Guy, received money from shell companies, was the brand Hunter was pushing to make millions of dollars, and even bragged about making Ukraine fire a prosecutor that wanted to investigate the company that hired Hunter which means he was involved with a quid-pro-quo. If the Republican Congress impeaches Biden next year, the Democrats in the Senate that don't want him thrown out of office will be associated with corruption and could lose their seats in the Senate. Expect nonstop lying from Democrats next year. They seem to think this is Australia because they conduct too many kangaroo courts. They are the real threat to democracy; not Trump. Republicans aren't all totally honest. Too many Republicans wanted to believe the Chinese lie that it wanted to be just an economic competitor and that it was fine if companies were outsourced to China. Trump tried to correct that mistake.
They sometimes say cheaters never prosper. But that was said before our government was created. Today, cheaters prosper because our tax money supports them. That's no lie despite what Democrats believe.
