December 18, 2023 at 6:05 p.m.

Tim Miner, 75, Warsaw, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, surrounded by close family.
Tim was born in Warsaw on March 29, 1948, to Arnold “Pete” and Louise McGlennen Miner, who both preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was Kay Leedy Miner, the mother of his sons.
Tim was a lifelong resident of Warsaw where he knew no stranger. Tim spent his entire career in sales. In the early part of his career, he enjoyed car sales at Jud Cook Chevrolet and Tim Miner Auto Sales. In the latter part of his sales career, Tim sold boats for Main Channel Marina on Lake Wawasee and retired after 20 years.
Following his retirement, he continued to be a regular for karaoke night at the Moose Lodge in Warsaw, where he was always surrounded by many friends and accompanied by his partner of 27 years and wife of 13 years, Loretta Marshall Miner. In his leisure time, Tim was plotting strategies and charting statistics on his ponies and poker tournaments. In recent years, his passion and focus had been caring for Loretta, visiting with family, and being a good neighbor and friend.
Tim had more friends than can be counted and had an amazing and extensive family. He is survived not only by his wife Loretta, but also sons Gavin Miner (Shay Wenzel) and Darren Miner (Tammy Keirn), six grandkids, and three great-grand kids, his sister Wahnema (Steve) Hardin, nephew Cory Hardin, niece Elyse Hardin and many cousins. He is further survived by his children in marriage Judy (Ralph) Carmona, Lawney (Lisa) Francis, William Marshall, Brandi (Gary) Opperman, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with Tim’s care. A traditional funeral service will be held in Tim’s honor at the funeral home, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw, on Dec. 30. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., funeral service at 1 p.m., followed by interment at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw. For those wanting to say goodbye in true Tim Miner fashion, Gavin and Darren will host a reserved happy hour at Downtown Eatery & Spirits in Warsaw at 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made at the funeral or happy hour.
