Chautauqua Receives Program Grant

SYRACUSE - Chautauqua-Wawasee was selected to receive a $10,000 grant from the Kosciusko County Community Foundation in support of Chautauqua’s 2023 Life Enriching Programs.
These funds were provided in support of six programs: Patriot Speaker Series with Abigail Adams and Martha Washington, Family Fun Video Film Festival, Patriotic Pops Concert, 3-day Digging Through History Series, Does Nature Love You Back and Old Fashioned Christmas, according to a provided news release.
Chautauqua-Wawasee’s programs are developed in support of the four Chautauqua pillars: arts, education, faith and recreation. Chautauqua teams with other local organizations to maximize community engagement, including Syracuse Parks Department, Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, the Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum, Wawasee Property Owners Association, Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation, Oakwood Resort, American Legion Post #223, Pickwick Theater, Wawasee High School, Ball State University, Lakeland Youth Center, Rotary and many others.
Chautauqua-Wawasee is appreciative for this grant, which is made possible by the Lilly Unrestricted Endowment Fund, component fund of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation Inc., according to the release.
Since 2014, Chautauqua-Wawasee, a nonprofit organization, has provided programs toward the mission of helping to make Syracuse and the region a great place to visit, live, work and raise a family.
