Donald D. Drudge, 85, passed away Wednesday evening Dec. 13, 2023, at Addison Pointe Health and Rehabilitation in Chesterton.
Donald was born in Wheatfield on Sept. 6, 1938, to Eugene Ross and Florence Benita Robinette Drudge. He graduated from Pierceton High School with the class of 1937.
Don served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1962. He also served in the Air Force Reserves as a sergeant and a vehicle dispatcher.
In Clintwood, Va., Don married Barbara I. Earl on Oct. 3, 1960; she died in 2013.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 19 from noon to 2 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Christopher Lee Williams officiating. A burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton with military honors.
