Kosciusko Violent Crimes

Editor, Times-Union:
Kosciusko County has been my lifelong home and like many others raised my family here.
In recent years, violent crimes like gang shootings, sex offenders, dealing drugs and violence is taking place in our county more often.
Our police officers are on the front lines dealing with issues that are dangerous and sometimes risking their own life's.
I would not hope but expect to see our prosecutor's office and judges set an example to violent criminals that we will not tolerate this here.
Shootings, and other crimes is not a mistake, it's a choice.
Thank you to all the police officers and first responders for doing your job, as citizens we can help you during election time by watching who is soft on crime and vote accordingly.
Respectfully submitted,
Mike Wood
