On behalf of The Watershed Foundation, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to six homeowners, 60 volunteers, 68 sponsors, 360 participants and the community at large for their incredible support of the Tippy Cottage Tour and Luscious Luau held on July 29, 2023, at Lake Tippecanoe. The final result is a net profit of $64,000 to protect and improve water quality in our beautiful lakes.
The success of this event would not have been possible without our remarkable volunteers' dedication and hard work. Their commitment to ensuring every aspect of the tour and luau’s success is truly commendable. Their efforts behind the scenes did not go unnoticed, and we are immensely thankful for their time and energy.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to our generous sponsors. Their contributions played a pivotal role in making this event a reality. Their support not only helps us raise awareness about the importance of preserving our watershed but also assists in funding crucial initiatives that ensure the conservation and protection of our lakes and rivers for generations to come.
Lastly, we are overwhelmed by the tremendous support shown by the community. Your attendance, enthusiasm, and participation made the Tippy Cottage Tour and Luscious Luau a truly memorable experience. Your presence underscored the significance of our shared mission to safeguard the health of our lakes.
The funds raised during this event will directly contribute to our ongoing efforts to maintain the health and sustainability of not only Lake Tippecanoe, but its surrounding watershed as well. By working together, we can continue to positively impact the environment and ensure the preservation of this cherished treasure.
