NORTH WEBSTER – Merle Campbell Jr., 93, Milford, died Aug. 18, 2023, at the Peabody’s Retirement Community.
He was born to Merle and Laura Smith Campbell on Nov. 16, 1929, in Milford.
Merle served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1953. On Aug. 16, 1957, Merle married Laura "Sue" Free in Milford.
A private graveside service will occur at Milford Cemetery. The family will be grieving privately.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter - NE Office, 7221 Engle Road, suite 230, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services of North Webster.
